About Yeyyey

Yeyyey is an online marketplace that connects buyers with verified, independent vendors in Papua New Guinea. Yeyyey operates the platform; the vendor is the seller of the goods and is responsible for fulfilling your order. A contract of sale is formed between you and the vendor.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. Accounts are for buyers, vendors, or platform operators. Trade accounts with credit terms are subject to approval and the limits set on your account.

Orders, prices & GST

All prices are in PNG Kina (PGK) and include 10% GST, which is itemised on your tax invoice. An order is confirmed once payment is made (or, for trade accounts, once the order is placed on approved credit terms). Vendors may decline or cancel an order — for example if stock is unavailable — in which case you are refunded in full.

Stock and pricing are set by vendors and may change before you order.

Payment

Payments are processed in PGK through our PNG-licensed payment gateway (card, BSP Pay, mobile money, EFTPOS, QR) or by bank transfer. You authorise us and the vendor to charge the amount shown at checkout.

Delivery, returns & refunds

Delivery and returns are described in our Shipping & returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Your statutory rights under the PNG Sale of Goods Act for faulty, misdescribed or wrong goods always apply.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform — including fraud, posting false information, infringing others' rights, or attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Liability

Yeyyey provides the marketplace platform. To the extent permitted by law, Yeyyey is not liable for the acts of vendors or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under PNG consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea, including the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission Act 2002 and the Sale of Goods Act. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Papua New Guinea.

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
